I enjoy transformative conversations over a cup of coffee with interesting people sharing the vibrations. They pair well.
 
I have been a resident of Petersburg, Virginia for 14 years so it's home now. I'm a proud Gullah-Geechee Girl, I am mother to an awesome daughter and lover of my family and kinfolk. Bless up! Some know me as "Mama Harris" (throw up the horns "Bull City"!) but
"Ms. Nikki" is most common these days. Love it! I am a singer/songwriter and in my former life I was recording artist "Zakiyah" aka "Zakiyah The Queen". Great music and amazing times!  

My entrepreneurial journey began from a deeply personal place of seeking relief and healing. After my car accident in May 2017, I was left grappling with chronic pain and debilitating health issues that traditional medications barely touched. The turning point came when I was introduced to medical marijuana, which opened my eyes to the potential of cannabis for pain relief. However, it was the exploration into CBD that truly changed my life. Discovering that I could infuse CBD into my daily beverages and foods, finding relief without the psychoactive effects, was nothing short of a revelation. This experience ignited a passion in me to share this form of relief with others who might be seeking the same solace from their ailments.

Inspired by my own journey, I envisioned a space where the community could come together to enjoy not just a cup of coffee but a potentially life-enhancing experience.
People have long enjoyed my coffee and food creations which I share with great pleasure. It's a privilege to sup together with loved ones especially when the food is made with love. That's the secret ingredient.  After discussing this idea with 4 of my closest friends, William Jones, Dr. Ira Smith, Reginald Hayes and Heather Dyson we decided to joined forces to create the intity that would bring a piece of my home and healing to others. What a great idea we agreed.
"Cool Beans" I replied as I frequently say in exclamation of agreement.
So it made perfect sense to name this unique coffee experience, "Cool BeanZ Café". It's more than just a coffee shop; it's a sanctuary where every sip and bite offers an opportunity for wellness and comfort. Our unique selling proposition is the integration of high-quality CBD isolate into our premium coffee, tea, and even our fruit ElixerZ(refreshers) and CoolieZ(smoothies).
As companion to our beverages we offer traditional pastries as well as our specialty gluten-free/Keto options on the menu. Our pastries are baked on-site and are delicious to boot. Can't wait for you to come in and discover your favorite.
